[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We will be meeting business owners over the next 18 months with the aim of  selecting those most suitable to be part of our free, comprehensive 6-week programme of support. So if you are an accountant, solicitor, baker, candlestick maker or whatever type of business you run we would like to you to be involved in this program.

What will happen next

Once you have registered your interest one of our Business Accelerator advisers will arrange to meet with you to find out more about your business and how the program could potentially help you. At this stage we would encourage you to share your passion and reasons for why you should be a part of the programme. (Please also be prepared to provide us with evidence of trading and that you live in the borough).

2 x 2 hour sessions that will involve an intensive business and organisational analysis/strategy review meeting with one of our specialist advisers.

We will help you with identifying your needs, what’s not working and recommend changes but more importantly help develop an action plan for implementation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Business Skills Training:

These 1/2 day workshops are designed to develop those key skills identified in your initial meeting(s).  Topics include:

  • Driving business growth and building better teams
  • Protecting your business – managing legal, financial risk,
  • Getting more for less – lean principles of small businesses,
  • Creating your marketing strategy

No matter what your business, chances are most of your customers are using the internet. Our primary focus initially will be on:

  • helping you use the 4 key social media tools effectively
  • creating your social media strategy
  • monitoring your output

This support will be delivered in bite size training modules lasting 2 hours

How often have we heard about learning from other people’s mistakes and experiences. True for people, true for business.

Up to 4 online sessions (lasting no more than 90 mins) will give cohort participants the opportunity to share mutual problems and get group solutions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Expert Monitoring

We will do this through Mentoring.

You will be matched with a Business Mentor/Coach who will offer you a minimum of 4 x 1 hour sessions of support to ensure that you remain on track and implement your action plan[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Networking Events –

There will be plenty of opportunities to meet with entrepreneurs from previous or future cohorts as well as the wider Harrow business community. You will expand your business network that in the future will create new business collaborations and clients.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_column_text]Legal HealthCheck Sessions:

One of the areas that business owners regularly overlook as they charge for growth is whether or not their existing policies and documents are still fit for purpose.

Through one of our partners we are able to offer you a free one hour session to discuss what documentation/policies are appropriate for your business in the future. This process could involve a review of your existing documents such as employment contracts, terms and conditions, GDPR.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Training

If through the course of our discussions it becomes apparent that you or your team could benefit from selective training to further improve your knowledge and/or skills then  we will refer you on to the Harrow Excite team. They have launched a new initiative that could be of benefit to you. Please click on the link below to find out more information.

The scheme is keen to help you and/or their staff get access to the support they need, through training, to get upskilled. In some cases this training could be provided free of charge to you and/or your team subject to you meeting some specific criteria.

They will also help you in recruiting new and training new members of your team including apprenticeships.

This support, we hope, will ultimately lead to your business being better equipped to take up new opportunities so that it can continue to grow and prosper in the future.
